Build the Touch Switch

It should work well with only one MOSFET.

Larger power MOSFETS can switch large currents so it's possible to drive a small motor.

  1. Describe what the MOSFET does.
     
  2. Why is the resistor needed?
     
  3. Why is there a diode across the motor?
     
  4. Why is the other diode needed?
     
  5. What property of the MOSFET allows this circuit to work with only one MOSFET?
